Tony Lai is the CEO & co-founder of LawGives, a startup with a mission to bring universal access to trusted legal help. LawGives helps lawyers use technology to find rewarding work and achieve their full potential. Tony was on the founding staff team at StartX, the Stanford student startup accelerator, helping Stanford’s most passionate, innovative, and talented founders develop as entrepreneurs through experiential education. He continues to sit on judging panels for program acceptance, and actively supports social entrepreneurs participating in the StartX program. Tony is also a Fellow at CodeX, the Stanford Center for Legal Informatics, and was on the teaching team for the first legal technology class at Stanford Law School and for the joint Harvard/Stanford class, Ideas for a Better Internet, run out of Stanford’s d.school.
