Susan Worthman is the associate chair of the MBA in Design Strategy and the founder/director of the Leading by Design Fellows Program, an executive education program in innovation leadership, both at the California College of the Arts. A systems design strategist, future thinker and general upstart, she is dedicated to building society’s creative capacity, motivation and capability to drive change when it is needed, and adapt to change when it occurs. As an educator, she focuses on multi-generational learning, believing that the key to our future lies in expanding the horizons of current and future generations of business leaders.
Before joining CCA, Susan worked in a variety of leadership roles in program, business and organizational development across a wide variety of industries and sectors, including startups, Fortune 500s, nonprofits and NGOs with clients such as IBM, Intel, the Singaporean government, NEH and HUD. She holds a BA in History from the University of Pennsylvania, an MBA in Strategic Management from San Francisco State University, and an Executive Certificate in Sustainable Business Management from Presidio Graduate School.
