    Sarah Sladen, Director, Youth Economic Opportunities Network (YEO Network), Making Cents International
    Sarah brings to her role nearly 13 years of experience in international program management, implementation, and coalition building. She has a background in youth workforce development and livelihoods, peacebuilding, and conflict resolution. At Making Cents International, Sarah oversees the Youth Economic Opportunity Network (YEO Network), a global hub that supports collaboration, exchange and impact for technical experts focused on youth social and economic inclusion. Sarah directs the YEO Network’s strategy and innovation as well as key initiatives to advance the field, including the annual Global Youth Economic Opportunities Summit, the YouthEconomicOpportunities.org learning hub, and year-round convening and virtual learning events. In her role, Sarah works across a range of key stakeholders including non-profits, donors and policy makers, the private sector, educators and researchers, and youth leaders. Prior to joining Making Cents, Sarah supported youth development initiatives at InterAction and the Education Development Center, Inc. Sarah got her professional start at Seeds of Peace, where she worked with young people from the Middle East, South Asia, the Balkans, and the United States to develop leadership and peacebuilding skills. Sarah’s interests include youth-inclusive development and policy, and youth economic opportunity in a changing world of work. In her spare time, Sarah travels as much as she can and races on a local cycling team, Bike Rack Racing, in Washington, DC.
