Dhillon leads the team at 1StudentBody (1sb), who are connecting the world’s students through applications that improve their lives. He grew up in rural North Carolina and went on to get a BA from Duke University and a JD/MBA from the University of Virginia. He is a serial-entrepreneur, having previously founded children’s technology company Togetherville, which was acquired by Disney in February of 2011. His resumé includes names such as McKinsey, and Latham & Watkins, and he’s co-produced two movies – both of which have been broadcast on PBS. Dhillon is on the board of directors at the Duke Alumni Association, founder of a national Sikh non-profit, and his wife is an award-winning author. Together they have three digital native children.
