Lloyd Kurtz is a portfolio manager and chief investment officer at Nelson Capital Management. Before joining Nelson Capital, he was an analyst and director of quantitative research at Harris Bretall Sullivan & Smith. Prior to that, he was senior research analyst at KLD Research & Analytics in Boston, where he participated in the development of the Domini Social Index (now known as the MSCI KLD 400), the first broad-based U.S. social investment index. Lloyd serves as a lecturer in Investments at the Leavey School of Business at Santa Clara University, and is also affiliated with the Center for Responsible Business, Haas School of Business, U.C. Berkeley.
