What Reinvent Futures Does

What if you knew what was really going on in the world right now? If you had insights that went against the conventional wisdom but were more accurate and true?

What if you knew what probably was coming in the next 10 years? What new technologies were going to emerge, what trends actually play out, what systems were going to fundamentally change?

What if you knew what’s possible to achieve in the next 25 years — for the world, for America, for your field or for your organization? What if you understood the best case about what is truly possible in solving our many challenges?

And what if you knew what you could do now to help hit those ambitious long-term targets? Or what could be done now to prepare for those changes inexorably coming in the decade ahead?

If you knew the answers to all those four sets of questions, how useful, how valuable would it be?  It would be very valuable.

If you even had early insights into what’s really going on now, what’s probably coming in the next 10 years, what’s possible to achieve in the next 25 years, and what you could do today to make the most of it - that would be very useful indeed.

That’s what Reinvent Futures does.

What Reinvent Futures Is

Reinvent Futures is a professional services company that helps people better understand the future and what they can do now to make that future the best it can be.

We help people figure out the answers to the four key questions: what’s really going on now, what’s probably coming in the next 10 years, what’s possible to achieve in the next 25 years, and what you could do.

We do that by focusing on three core areas: convening remarkable innovators to help figure out the future, advising senior leaders of organizations about what can be done, and creating media of what we learn.

The Mission of Reinvent Futures

We believe that America and the world enter the 2020s with the potential to lay the foundations for many fundamental system changes that could open up an era of great progress.  Much depends on what we do in this critical decade.

We believe those new 21st-century systems could scale up by 2050 in time to help solve many of the great challenges of our time like climate change.

We’re on a mission to do our part to help reinvent those systems and bring about a better future for all.

The People of Reinvent Futures

Reinvent Futures is a company based in San Francisco that specializes in strategic foresight and can be broadly categorized as working in professional services.

The company was founded by Peter Leyden and is managed by Joe Boggio. Much of the value of the company comes from the extensive, high-quality networks that Leyden and Boggio bring into the business. They constantly draw off those networks for Reinvent Future’s convening, advisory and creative work.

You can find out much more about Founder and Principal Peter Leyden and Managing Partner Joe Boggio in the People section.

Convening Remarkable Innovators

Our business works on the Convening side by finding the right partners who share our interest in convening top innovators and driving important conversations that give strategic foresight into what’s coming in the 2020s and beyond.

There are many benefits that come from partnering with Reinvent Futures in hosting these convenings. Our partners are considered co-hosts and are positioned as central to the convening project. We solve most of the hardest work in creating truly meaningful and memorable events.

See the Convening section for the various forms those services can take.

Advising Senior Leaders

Our business works on the Advising side by finding the right clients who want to draw off what we are constantly learning and get their senior leadership thinking differently about our four key questions: what’s really going on, what’s probably coming, what’s possible to achieve, and what you should do.

See the Advising section for the various forms those services can take.

Creating Media

Our business works on the Creating side by capturing the key insights that come off our other work and putting them in forms that allow those ideas to scale.

Our media creation often comes packaged with our other work, such as creating video clips of our gatherings, or written syntheses of what we are learning along the way.

Individuals and businesses not participating in our Convening and Advising work will be able to subscribe to just our media offerings too.
